        What is Hayflick limit?

Does it apply to all cells?

The Hayflick limit, or Hayflick phenomenon, is the number of times a normal somatic, differentiated human cell population will divide before cell division stops. It defines the number of possible cell divisions and depends on the length of chromosomal telomeres, which decreases in standard cells with every cell division. This number is between 50 and 70

This limit does not apply to stem cells.
